Private Lessons take place wherever your issues occur — at your house, out in town, at the beach, on the trail, around other dogs, and more. Each session runs one to an hour and a half. The first lesson always takes place in your home so we can discuss your needs and goals without distractions.

Each lesson is specifically tailored towards you and your dog's individual goals. Multiple sessions are almost always required to ensure you have a complete understanding of how to maintain the behaviors and techniques you'll learn.

Some dogs may progress more slowly than others, so there is no guarantee any issue will be solved in a specific number of lessons. The frequency depends on the severity of the issue and how quickly you'd like to resolve it.

Private Lessons are recommended for any and all types of dogs, behaviors, and ages — from behavior in the home, jumping, barking, and not listening, to challenges out in public. I serve all towns on Martha's Vineyard and will travel to wherever you are on the island.
