Group Obedience
Classes

Small, focused obedience classes held monthly at Stillpoint in West Tisbury – open to dogs of all ages, sizes, and experience levels.

– ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Group Classes are a great way to learn and practice foundational skills you can use with your dog every day. New sessions run monthly and are open to dogs of all ages, sizes, and experience levels – whether you've never done any formal training before or are simply looking to sharpen skills you already have, there's always something new to take home.

Each series runs for 5 weeks, with each class covering multiple topics. The group setting is especially valuable for learning how to keep your dog focused and engaged around other dogs – a skill that's hard to replicate in a one-on-one environment.

Class space is intentionally limited to no more than 5 people so every dog and handler gets real attention and feedback throughout each session.

To join, you must have completed at least one Private Lesson or an initial consultation with me beforehand. This requirement exists to keep everyone in the class safe – it allows me to get to know your dog, teach you the basics one-on-one, and make sure you're both ready before stepping into a higher-distraction environment.

Dogs that are human or dog reactive are not eligible for group classes. If your dog has reactivity concerns, the Leash Walking Program may be a better fit to start.
